What the Resource dashboard is for
One look at the company's shared shelf: how many vendors, how many of them you cannot reach, and how much is stored and published.

Resource is the module for the things an inspection company keeps around but that do not belong to any job: the vendors it buys from, a general file store, a scratch pad, and the curated Library its people and technicians read from. The dashboard is the front door to all four.

Who it is for
The office manager who owns the vendor list and the Library.
Without it
A vendor with no contact on file is found the day someone needs to call them. Nobody knows how many files are stored or which Library folders are empty until they go looking.
What it shows
Four cards: Vendors, Vendors Without Contacts, Stored Files and Library Files, drilling into the vendor grid, File Storage and the Library. Two charts: Vendors by State and Library Files by Folder. A Recently Added Vendors table with Vendor, City, State, Phone, Contacts and Added.
What it is worth
  • The gap in the directory, counted. Vendors Without Contacts is the list to fix before you need it.
  • Where the vendors are. Vendors by State shows the footprint at a glance.
  • Which shelves are stocked. Library Files by Folder shows a folder that was created and never filled.
  • What was added lately. The recent table is a quick check that new vendors were entered completely.
Pays for itself the first vendor contact added because the card said it was missing, before anyone had to call.

Good to know

  • Every card drills. The count on the card is the row count in the grid it opens.
  • Vendors are a directory, not purchasing. There are no purchase orders here; the module holds who the vendors are and how to reach them.
  • The Library has two sides. Resource curates the folders; Home and the field app read them.
  • Company-wide. File Storage and the Scratch Pad are shared by the whole account, not per user.
