What the Overview pages are for
Your own day and your own week: the jobs and tasks with your name on them, in the time slots they occupy.

Home is the one module that is about the signed-in person rather than the company. Every dashboard elsewhere in InspectSync is account-wide; the two pages here are yours. They are where you land after sign-in, and they answer the two questions everyone asks first: what am I doing today, and what does my week look like.

Who it is for
Every user, first thing in the morning. Office and field alike.
Without it
Your day is scattered across the Jobs grid, the task list and your memory. "What am I doing today?" is answered by opening two grids, filtering each to yourself, and reading the dates.
What it shows
Four cards: Scheduled Jobs, Completed Jobs, Scheduled Tasks and Completed Tasks. The job cards open My Jobs and the task cards open My Tasks. Below them, the Today panel: a day timeline with a time column on the left and your jobs and tasks as blocks in their slots. Filters for Job Status, Job Priority, Job Attribute and Task Status thin the timeline, with a single clear-all once any is set. A legend explains item types, status colours, priority colours and job attribute colours, and the attribute legend is built from the account's own configured attributes. Clicking a task block opens the shared Task Edit modal in place.
What it is worth
  • Today at a glance. Jobs and tasks in the order they happen, without a filter to build.
  • Only what matters right now. Hide completed work or low priorities and the timeline shows what is left.
  • Fix a task without leaving. The Task Edit modal opens on the block, the same modal used in Jobs, CRM and Admin.
  • The count and the list agree. Each card opens the grid behind it, already filtered to you.
Pays for itself the first morning you know your day before you have opened a single grid.

My Week

The same person, planning further than today.
Without it
A day view hides the shape of the week. Thursday's overload is invisible on Monday, and the empty Wednesday afternoon that could have absorbed it goes unused.
What it shows
The Today timeline stretched across seven days: a time column on the left, one column per day, and your jobs and tasks as blocks. The same Job Status, Job Priority, Job Attribute and Task Status filters and the same legend as the Dashboard. Clicking a task opens the Task Edit modal.
What it is worth
  • The shape of the week. Heavy days and light days side by side, so the week can be balanced before it starts.
  • Same slots, same colours. A job on today's timeline sits in the same slot here, so the two pages read as one.
  • Nothing slips between days. A task due Friday is visible on Monday, in its slot.
Pays for itself the first Thursday you spotted on Monday and moved something out of.

Good to know

  • Home is per-user. These are the only pages in InspectSync scoped to the signed-in person; every other dashboard is account-wide.
  • One Task Edit modal. Tasks look and behave the same whether opened here, in Jobs, in CRM or in Admin.
  • Attribute colours are yours. The job attribute legend comes from the attributes configured for the account, not a fixed list.
  • Recents are in the top bar. The record pills beside the search box are the quickest way back to something you opened earlier.
